Sometimes you need support for one concern or a practical next step, rather than a full-length session. These 30-minute check-ins offer established clients a shorter option when it fits their care.
That might mean navigating medical overwhelm, preparing questions for your care team, or getting support during a demanding stretch of health, work, or life. We’ll decide together whether a shorter visit fits your needs.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured way to work with distressing experiences. It may include eye movements or other bilateral stimulation as part of working with memories that still feel raw.
I don’t use EMDR as a one-size-fits-all approach. We consider your goals, health, energy, and readiness, and make room for preparation, check-ins, and closure. Regular sessions and intensives offer different amounts of time; neither comes with a promised timeline or result.

EMDR Intensive Therapy may fit clients who prefer fewer, longer sessions or want focused time for a specific concern. These 90–120 minute sessions offer more room for carefully paced work without a 50-minute cutoff. Whether an intensive is appropriate depends on your goals, readiness, and current capacity.
Why consider an EMDR intensive?
A diagnosis, treatment, surgery, or difficult medical experience can change how safe you feel in your body. Medical trauma therapy makes room for that experience, including the stress of cancer, survivorship, chronic illness, and uncertainty that is still ongoing.
I start with what is hardest now and what feels manageable. We may work on getting through appointments, responding to reminders, or approaching a memory when you feel ready. Your health, energy, and capacity help guide the pace.

After sexual assault, abuse, or harassment, you may be carrying feelings or reactions that are hard to explain. In sexual trauma therapy, you choose what to share. You don’t need to tell the whole story before we can begin.
I work with you to understand what you need now, whether that means support with boundaries, trust, body reactions, or memories. We check in about the pace and make room to pause or change course.
